Digital India kya hai

Digital India is a flagship initiative launched by the Indian government in 2015 with the vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The initiative aims to provide a digital infrastructure and services to every citizen of India, irrespective of their location and social status.

The program focuses on three core areas: digital infrastructure, digital services, and digital literacy. It includes various projects and programs, such as the National Optical Fibre Network (NOFN), Digital Locker System, e-Sign, National Scholarship Portal, and e-Hospital, among others.

Through the Digital India initiative, the government seeks to bridge the digital divide and enhance connectivity and digital access across the country. It aims to leverage technology to improve governance, healthcare, education, and financial inclusion, among other areas, and create a digitally empowered and inclusive India.
